Have you looked inside your bra drawer lately? Have you been neglecting a part of your wardrobe that really helps to make your outfit all that it can be?

If you are like most women, the drawer of bras get neglected once their appearance in the laundry becomes unbearable. Holes, improper fit, old elastic, ect. they all stare at you like good old worn out friends. As expensive as they can be, it is difficult to let them go because, like your friends, good ones are hard to come by. Most great bras are more than $20 each so, getting your dollars worth out of each and every one is crucial to your budget and wardrobe.

Once you have decided it is time to throw away some of the “oldies but goodies,” identify a woman’s bra shop that specializes in bras and go get properly measured by an experienced sales person. When was the last time you had a proper measurement done? Think about it. Most people physically change in some way every 5 years and age contributes to that fact considerably. If you put on clothes and see bulges around your bra, it may be time for a bra intervention.

Just recently a friend of mine and I went to a Victoria’s Secret Shop to find a wedding dress bra that would not show underneath her dress. After she was properly measured, we found out that her bra size had gone up in both the cup size and width. Once she tried on a couple of bras, my friend said “I can’t believe I have been walking around with the wrong bra size for over four years.” Now with her wedding in one month, she has a beautiful bra and panty set that will really make her feel comfortable and beautiful for her special day.
